Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 June 2026

FeelShare ("FeelShare", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We process personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act").

1. Information we collect

2. How we use your data

3. Legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you provide when you sign up and use specific features (such as location), and for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as keeping the platform secure.

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. Limited profile information (such as your display name, avatar, and Trust Score) is visible to other members as part of the meetup experience. We share data with trusted processors (for example, cloud hosting and authentication providers) only as needed to run the service, under contractual safeguards. Your exact location is never published to other users.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Review and safety records may be retained longer where required for moderation or legal compliance. When you delete your account, we soft-delete your profile and queue personal data for erasure, typically within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of incapacity. You can export your data or request account deletion from within the app, or by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure storage of sensitive fields. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

8. Children

FeelShare is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email, and the "last updated" date above will be revised.

10. Grievance & contact

For any privacy question, or to reach our Grievance Officer as required under the DPDP Act, email hello@feelshare.me and we will respond within the timelines prescribed by law.
